Wave 6 and the Q1 Pilot, Device and Obstacle packs

The 'original' release has an awful lot of 1e cards and materials in it, as well as having the early versions of several cards which were subsequently corrected for the main release. There were also issues with the articulation on the X-Wing in the pack, which may have since been solved.

Doing a 'proper' 2e release means they can do away with the 1e packaging and cards, and have the 'correct' versions of the cards in circulation.

....and that's worth doing that ahead of another ship that hasn't had any 2E product release yet?

More like "so little effort was required that there was no reason not to"

I'm going to be laughin my *** off if "Rush" is an I1 or 0 with the ability to boost, either pre or post maneuver, and have that boost not count as an action. Then I'd be tempted to pick up a Silencer just to paint it red and slap some Waaaagh! emblems on it. :D

But there ought to be a "Da Red Onez go fasta" on the rear bumper as well ;)

I thought somewhere it was stated that one if the card packs would have a scenario in it. Was it the live stream?

Also, I will appreciate more of some upgrades where I don't own enough.

EDIT: I also don't understand why they re-release Saw's Renegades. It already was 2.0 compliant. Why bother? Anything really different?

Well, I never got it. Maybe my LGS will let me buy the old one on sale?

Environment card "Pinpoint bombardment" surely sound interesting. Then how much is just FFG marketing speech, and how much is really cool, we will see in time (same as for "Epic Battles" pack where they announce "11 cinematic scenarios", and one just seems to be the old core set satellitte mission now scaled up to 4 players). I do not put my expectations too high, this way I can get surprised positively.

I myself actually did held back on Saw Renegades so far, due to the early 2nd edition cards in this pack having errors, same with the Reaper, holding back there as well. So, updated fully 2nd ed compliant version is certainly something I might consider buying.

I was talking to Phil about what to expect from the missions. We don't think they will be real missions but more like Junior missions. I also expect they will just throw in the environments over these Junior missions for some type of variety.

Swz02 and Swz03 were already reserved for it seems, very early in 2nd ed.

I think it would be cool for the silencer to get an I6 ace, but they do have a lot of strong pilots already.

But I also like the idea of built-in inherently negative abilities. You could use it to be cheaper or have an excuse for an I6 pilot.

His name suggests a "Haste makes waste" ability. Maybe he's an I6 pilot, but his ability is "After you partially execute a maneuver, suffer one [crit] damage," or "After you engage, lose your charge. Before you defend, if your charge is active, suffer one [hit] damage" (1 charge, recurring).

I6 is great but comes with its downsides. 😛

I just miss the days of 1e running PtL Fel and Inquisitor. Most Silencers being run are Kylo, and that's just because he's a glorified Defender who traded his free evade for two Force charges.

Maybe Rush lets allies jump on his back and fly faster?

This post isn't important.

This one either.

What if "Rush" allows the player to use a 2 straight for a boost instead?

Question about wave 6 ships: do we know if the A-wing, Defender and Interceptor will have the same pilots of the conversion kits? They do not state this as they been doing before, like in the B-wing announcement.

We don't have any reason to expect new pilots, especially as there aren't any new ones in the pilots pack.

From the Echoes of War Wave 6 article: https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2019/8/1/echoes-of-war/

Tie Interceptor spread:

Tie Defender Spread:

RZ-1 A-Wing spread:

So far in 2.0 the spreads have been dead on as to what pilots and upgrades are in the expansions and these show no new pilots.

Thank you both
