Rules Reference Updated

By bwingstrike, in Star Wars: Legion

Looks like a new rules reference is up. A few new keywords from upcoming units! Effective 12/09/19.

My wild guesses:

Calculate The Odds, Counterpart, Inconspicuous & Secret Mission for R2D2 & C3P02. Maybe Distract?

Makashi Mastery for Dooku?

Counter to bounty finally added?

S E C R E T M I S S I O N (UNIT KEYWORD)
While a battle rages on, some units have a hidden directive or a dire goal that will swing the tide of the larger conflict. Once per game, as a free card action, a unit with the secret mission keyword can place 1 victory token on their card if they are within an enemy deployment zone. At the end of the game, if that unit has a victory token and is not defeated, the player that controls that unit gains 1 victory token.

• If a unit with the bounty keyword defeats a unit that has a victory token from using the secret mission ability, the unit with the bounty keyword takes that token.
» Each unit with bounty cannot cause a player to gain more than 1 victory token from the bounty keyword at the end of the game.
• When playing a game that uses scenario battle cards, such as those found in the Downed AT-ST expansion, unless otherwise stated, the secret mission keyword cannot be used.
» Scenario battle cards have a scenario icon in the top right corner of the card.

Interesting they added to Danger Sense that you can use the additional dice vs melee. I wonder if that helps Jyn at all. Unlikely, but they at least give her and the Pathfinders a small boost.

Ok, and the countdown to see how many months it will take FFG Spain to translate begins... Now!

Makashi Master is pretty great. Also astromech droids can repair droid units, which is sweet.

Inconspicuous and Distract keywords can only mean one thing....Jar Jar is coming

Those are on R2 and C-3PO, not necessarily that you're wrong though. I've seen an image of the unit card floating around.

Looks like spell checker was not strong with the force in the rules this time!

Where? I'd love to see that

Absolutely no idea where it was sourced, but matches up to the new RRG entries.

It's a weird hybrid of a unit card and an upgrade card. That's a potentially interesting mechanic.

Clear text but pixellated images? Looks like a poor Photoshop job.

Oh, actually it's in the RRG, Page 3 - example of a Counterpart card (the new upgrade/unit hybrid). I don't know how exactly FFG makes the PDF, but if you zoom in the text actually does stay that clear, even if the images are NOT that hi-rez.

Not sure if real. If so, then this card is hilarious!

Lol it’s literally in the new RRG as an example.

Glad to hear that.
