My guess at the new B2 Super Battle Droids. What are your guesses on the announced new units?

Dooku may have something like 'Makashi Mastery' that gives him the opportunity to Deflect in melee. And he'll have some kind of force lightning attack.

40 points, 2 health white surge defense

1 white melee; 1 black range 1-3 blaster (surge to hit)

Keyword: steady

heavy upgrades: wrist rockets (range 2-4, blast, impact 1, 3 black dice, exhaust)

autoblaster (Range 1–3, 4 black dice, suppressive)

It'd also be interesting if Rex had something like 'Co-ordinate - Clone Trooper'.

That would be so sweet.

Do you think 3PO and R2 will have the ability to join a unit through the Personnel slot?

Or it would be cooler if they could also be added to a unit through the Command slot as well as through Personnel.

That would be in addition to having their own unit card. Probably one for the two of them.

I’m sure Rex will have the same ability all the clones have and can use their green tokens.

But Rex will be something like:

move 2

red defense dice

pistol 3b Pierce 1 range 2

melee 3 black

Health 6

Courage 3

Surge to def and crit

gunslinger

sharpshooter 1

Command, Gear, Training and Grenade slots

110 points

and he will have one other ability that will help Command troops, something like Take Cover.

I would, personally, have given the B2 a white attack die and, say armour 1, maybe 2, to represent their tougher nature. In the show they still go down to focused fire, just seem to take longer.

There’s this one scene from the animated movie where a clone’s weapon is out of ammo, so he tries to jump out of cover and punch the droid. The droid grabs him with one hand and holds him straight, then shoots him with the other hand. I’m not sure 1 white will do it. Then again I’m not sure if that’s really melee.

If they adjust the armor 1 to apply to each mini, sure, otherwise you get a strange scenario where the whole unit has 1 armor on any given attack.

I'm not sure why it would need to be changed? All it would do is give the unit a bit of extra durability. The B2 droids were created to be more durable, but still we see them die under volleys of fire. A corps unit with white defense, 2 health and armour 1 would play different from any corps unit so far, which is not a bad thing.

So I’m thinking Calculate The Odds ability that just showed up in the new RRG is going to be Rex’s ability.

It’s on C3PO’s card. Doesn’t seem very Rex to me - maybe scouting party?

possibly. It is on C-3PO's card, but could be given to Rex as well. The RRG description definitely sounded more like a droid ability, but would be great on a commander.

Looks like we were both right, armor 1 and 2 health.

And range 2 with 2 dice and droid troopers but they lack the ability to pass the token further.

So only 2 red on melee, red on the pistol, but no Pierce, health and courage 1 lower, no defence surge and one more Gear slot.

But other than that, spot on.😂😳🥴
