Droid Commander Miniature?

This Droid Commander mini is in the new Doom of the Republic article about the CIS faction for Legion.

Does anyone know if there has been mention of him? Is he an upgrade for the B1 Battle Droids, or perhaps an independent miniature?

I apologize if the answer is somewhere obvious and I've missed it.

He's just the unit leader. He does the usual unit leader things.
