Unboxing Clone Wars Starter Set / German

By TyphoonAlpha, in Star Wars: Legion

Hey Guys,

I just saw this on Youtube. The video is in German but it provides a good look at the new sprues and models.

Personally, I am a little bit worried about the number of parts which are required to build a simple droid. Since you have to use super glue this might be a little fiddly.

What makes you think you have to use super glue? If its plastic, then you can use other things just as well. I prefer to use Plastruct Plastic Weld as it bonds the plastic together permanently, and it can be used to melt mold lines easily.

Yeah, there's a lot of ways to work with plastic that doesn't involve super glue.

Really liking the look of the whole product. I'd prefer multipart sprues, but to have sprues is a good improvement, it may be easier to make modifications... Or perhaps it is just the same as before but you just have to cut the pieces...

I'll wait for multipart sprues for my GCW bands (still low unit count to be consideres armies) before investing more money. If the game doesn't evolve to a real wargame soon, I'll surely keep it as is without further investment.

What do you mean by not evolving into a real wargame???

The developers have said that everything will convert to the new format eventually.

Its a real wargame, Tubb just has some hard opinions that aren’t worth getting in to here.

Yeah please don't derail this thread lol

the minis looks fantastic. Can't wait!
