Since wave 4 was pushed back so much I would be very surprised if they were selling wave 5 at GenCon. Without points it really takes the shine out of getting the ships early anyway

Wave 5 wasn't listed on the Gen Con article directly, so I doubt they will have it. It did say there would be more than what they showed but with X Wing being so big it seems like a bad idea to not promote it more.
And yeah we have no release date and we have yet to get a article. Granted there will probably only be 2 preview articles since there are only 2 new ships.
I'm still expecting 5 in September, 6 in December to coincide with ep9.

Take anything Amazon says this far out with a massive dose of salt. They had Wave 2 listed as being out Dec 20th. It dropped earlier...

Seriously. Amazon sellers just straight-up make up release dates because they're not allowed to post listings without release dates.
I wouldn't expect to find out a release date until we see some articles (though maybe they're confirm what it is tonight), but if it's from Amazon, I would be pretty much 100% certain that 31 Oct is wrong.

I'm just emphasizing this. If you didn't know already, now you do! Amazon sellers rarely know more than we do and even when they do it's at most a couple weeks out from shipping date.
