Things are pretty quiet on the RPG front at the moment. I think a lot of us are still digesting the Clone Wars books, so it could be worse, but I'm wondering if Gen Con will give us some more insight on the future.
We frequently see FFG sell unreleased books at conventions, so I'm wondering if people will have a chance to get Gadgets and Gear. It wasn't on the list here: https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2019/7/29/ffg-at-gen-con-2019/ . However, the open-ended "And much more" bullet leaves some room to hope. I hope the book is available because I'm curious if there's more to this book than just the equipment descriptions (like how Allies and Adversaries had some PC species sprinkled in).
I also wonder if we'll get any new RPG announcements. I know we haven't seen many mentions of new RPG products at Gen Con since the Beta versions of the three core books, but I'm hopeful. Especially with FFG just releasing the Sam Witwer video ( https://youtu.be/_yEwodUDqT0 ) where he spends so much time dwelling on the RPG stuff, I'm hopeful that they are suggesting there's something big to talk about on the horizon.
Anyone have any insight or guesses? Will we get any product releases or announcements, or even crumbs of information? Or will this be a Gen Con with no Star Wars RPG discussion at all?
