Hey, my son and I are going to check out GEN CON for the first time this year. We can only swing 1 day (Friday), so that will obviously limit what all we can do. We decided this is kinda a scouting mission to figure out how we want to do it next time. So, that being said, from an X-Wing perspective what should we make sure to catch?

Well yeah, and obviously the FFG area in general is high on our list

Any advance info on epic or anything not wave 6 would be cool.

@Racejoe - Gen Con, for X-Wing and otherwise, is worth returning for - providing you don't mind the crowds.

Friday X-Wing

• FFG has the North American Championships... called something other than that this year... It's wonderful to see so many games at once.
• Shuttle Tydirium has various casual games going on out in Lucas Oil stadium, they have several different scenario based events during the day and their big storyline event in the evening. (They are listed under 19&One in the GenCon event guide)

Look for us mid way through Lucas Oil (Shuttle Tydirium- part of 19&One).

Friday, we have:

9-12 Furball Action

Two different Trench Run missions starting at 1pm.

2-5 is Faction Dogfight

7-10pm is our big narrative campaign (part 2) with unique missions and a ton of extra stuff.

We have more stuff on Saturday, too. Try searching 19&One and X-wing.

I hope they announce X-Wing Miniatures 3rd Edition.
