How Gud are Tauntauns?

Has anyone crunched the numbers and/or tested tauntans in TTS? Wheres our numbers guys, @Orkimedes , get in here! Everyone says they look good, but I'd like some concrete arguments before I buy multiple packs

In the meantime, here is a quick tripple-taun list. I feel like not having comms on them is a liability, so I could always cut a Taun, add upgrades on the 2 and a sniper team

I've played with them (not on TTS) I strangely got a hold of them just under a month back.

They are good but you have to trade off against activating early , you want to benefit from the dodges gained going last doesn't help with that. They are fast and can easily get across the long edge of the table. Their action economy is insane since they can pivot, move, gain a dodge. Pivot, move gain a dodge then shoot. For a total of 7 or so actions. On a unit that is 8 wounds for 90 points. Their offense is consistent hitting nearly 4 hits per attack and ignoring one level of cover. If you can get RAm it's good as well.

I find they are really good for multiple reasons. Lots of wounds, action economy but maybe the biggest one is that the enemy has to respect them which means they take pressure off my other units
