This might seem like an odd question...
Now that we have two corner expansions (dungeon and highlands) we can see how the board is shaping up.
But what I noticed is if the next corner pieces come out and are the same size as the exsisting two then there will be gaps between each corner piece along the 'longer' sizes of the board. Rather than perfectly connecting/touching.
Does anyone have any idea if the next two corners will be large enough to make all edges touch such that the board will look like one giant and complete rectangle? Or will there be spaces between the corners?
It's certainly not a deal breaker for me but I am hoping everything connects nicely to give a complete and clean looks.

How was it for previous versions of Talisman? If gaps are left were they used for anything (smaller board add-ons)?

Another Question: Do you think FFG will release more than 4 corners? Could it be that they intent to release many so that we will have a choice of what corners to use in any given play through? I like the idea of but I'm also a bit scared of what this could cost!!

I think that FFG will not release more than 4 corners.

The mainboard+ the 4 corners is the world of Talisman.

Otherwise it grows too big.

The only thing what they could add is the Dragon Tower for in the middle of the board.

Here it says: "Surrounding the land of Talisman are four great kingdoms known as regions."

I think that says what we can expect for the future expansions beside the small ones.

Also I think all the regions will come in the same size. It do not matter for me having the gabs, they give some room to place cards in. What I think could be cool is something like a plastic cardholder or something that fits into the gabs. Or we could homebrew some art that could be printet out and fill the gabs.

The Dragon expansion is the only small expansion left, along with a handful of retro cards..

City, forest, dragon tower+ timescape are the big ones..

At least we know that we still need the Light&dark fate expansion

I am also hoping for a plastic card holder for on the table and a Box that can hold a lot of cards

I think the boards are designed to fit round the Black Industries eidtion as well which was slightly smaller. I guess they may even match up perfectly on that board.

FFG could not release boards that made a perfect rectangle as there are people that use the original BI board and it would overlap.

I have been looking at making some sort of board extension that would fit with both versions, but it would only be a small one and it would be very limited. I think I might have a go at making some card holder that could fit in the gap... maybe...
