Also a little surprised there are no special Corellian Conflict rules

At a guess, they've probably given up on Corellian Conflict. With Rebellion in the Rim coming soon - which seems like it is trying to fix a lot of the issues with CC - their focus is probably on getting people to run that for their campaigns.

Of course, you can't run an SSD in the standard Rebellion in the Rim, but it might be possible in the expanded, 400-point version.

Still can't fit the ship + admiral into a starting fleet, so it's not really possible.

Have we seen the expanded 400-point rules for RitR? And in RitR you don't need the points for a commander, so starting with 400-points you should be able to fit in an SSD, even the Executor I.

No

On the live stream they suggested that the SSD may be in the final battle in RitR. Don't know how.

My understanding is you start at 200 points, and then gradually build your way up, with 400 being the max. Sort of like 400/500 in Corellian Conflict (but the rules definitely sound different than CC). So I don't think you can put an SSD in your fleet "naturally."

No, you can't have an SSD in a normal RitR game, but they also said it could be extended to start at 400-points.

Speculating wildly, perhaps the SSD appears in the final round of a RitR campaign (if you have it) as an objective of some kind. Perhaps it is under construction (as in the Assault Prototype art) and the Rebels have to sabotage it while the Empire defends it. I vaguely remember a mission in Empire at War along those lines (but with the Eclipse).

In FFG's live stream they said that you can unlock the SSD for the final "big" battle
