Very cool. This is gonna be the longest two weeks every
Looks like that means no wiggles when moving. Which is disappointing but understandable; it would have been a bit of a fuss to plot them without some fudging one way or another.
So when deploying a huge ship parts of it's base must always touch the edge of the play area even if I would deploy the ship completely within the deployment zone?

Yes.
"so if you're fielding double SSD for some insane reason" (from steel strategy article). LOL, since Armada came out I have bought at least two of each expansion. This is one I may have to hope I get a second from Christmas or birthday.
Just preordered one today, hoping my FLGS gets it on time!!
No Tua, interesting.
These rules make me think even more that this ship is basically ffg laughing at selling us an expensive model that is best used for a paper weight. It feels like it has a lot of built in weaknesses without any kind of bonuses to overcome them. This is making me rethink my preorder.
Would the points value of a half destroyed SSD be increased if it were the Most Wanted ship? (I assume not)
What if the SSD is half destroyed in a game with the Opening Salvo mission? (I assume you'd get both lots of points?)
So did I miss turning? Can it only turn if it has certain admirals/officers? The generic can only go straight?

You turn with navigation commands with that extra notch.

Of course. Silly me. Itβs been too long since I played. π

Correct on both counts.
A Huge ship with damage cards equal to at least half of its hull is Crippled . Crippled is a new statement, and it is different to destroyed.
So, Most Wanted giving a bonus ot destroyed objective ships will do nothing to a Crippled Objective Ship.
Opening Salvo, however. Indeed, awards you points for any ship with at least one damage card . By virtue of the fact, Crippled will involve at least one damage card (and in fact, in the SSD's case, will involve at least 11 in standard games), you would gain Half Points for Opening Salvo, and Half Points for Crippled, effectively gaining the entire Fleet Point Cost of the SSD, should you cripple it with that objective. In fact, because both Crippled and Opening Salvo rounds up , you might score a point or two more than Anticipated!

They're via discord links. So if you're on a system that can't access them, you'll be denied access.
But I'll see if I can transfer them to imgur today. Just hard to juggle that stuff on a phone.
EDIT: And done.
Can't say I don't do anything for the Masses

But Needa works.
Combined with Iden Versio and Brunson, and you will have a really nasty SSD that can negate quite some tokens. First time Tagge might be usefull again. Just to bring back this nasty evade token over and over again

Honestly, I'm using Tagge in my SSD proxy games already even without trying that combo. He's not awful! I mean, he's not great either, but y'know...
Did have a pretty fun game against some Vader Cymoon/VSDs relying on Intel Officers. Tagge laughed.

Itβs very interesting how Tagge becomes an option as soon as Motti is not π

Is it weird that I prefer Tagge to Motti?
Although, I think with the consideration of how saturated our meta is with Intel Officers, it makes sense.
Surprised by the pass token. You'd think it would be a token you always have and exhaust to pass, that would seem more Armada-y. Wonder why they did it that way.
Also a little surprised there are no special Correllian Conflict rules - with the half points for crippled you'd think they might have made it so that also made it scarred (or a new half-scarred condition).
