So my friends want to try Arkham Horror. One has played regularly before, his girlfriend has played once, and my friend hasn't played at all yet. I have purchased 2 core sets as well as 1 of the Dunwich Legacy expansion. Being that our base card pool is only 2 core sets, will we have enough cards to play through the game and various expansions?

yes you can. but you will have to manage your cards as you might find your group wanting to use cards that you won't have enough of, specifically core set neutral skill cards. but it is doable.

These decks are really great for a basic four player game with just two cores. It would be a good starting point for your game.
