word of triumph/glory/warning issue: who got the scout 1?

if player A add 1 success to playerB's test via words of glory，A discard
then who got the 1 scout ??

I would say the player with the Word of X card. The you in "you may discard" transfers to adding a success and scouting 1. So think: . . . "you" may discard this skill (for you) to add one success and (for you) to scout 1

so
player A discard and get scout 1
player B add one success
