Quest Questions from a Noob

By Buatha, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

So, I've read the Rules of Play and watch the FFG video, but I seem to not see much said about Quests.

1) So, does placing a unit on a Quest have it start gaining only one resource on each subsequent turn?

2) Do you have to draw all of the cards based on the power icons? It seems that you could deck yourself if you had too many power icons in your Quest Zone. So, if I had 3 total power icons, is it possible to only draw two cards?

Most quests add a resource during the quest phase, and most units must be played during the capital phase, so you would not be able to gain a resource until the turn after your unit has been played on the quest. The only exception I can think of is Nordland Halberders, who you could theoretically play on a quest during your kingdom phase.

You must draw one card for each power icon in your quest zone, unless a card effect states otherwise (Infiltrate, for example). This does mean you could deck yourself out, so zone management is very important.

Actually, aren't most of the quests a "Forced: Beginning of your turn"?

Yes, they are. My mistake.

You can still pull this trick off, just use them at the end of your opponent's battlefield phase (before your turn begins).
