FFG had asked on Twitter a Descent question today asking for favorite heroes. I think this is a good sign for things to come.

Nice! I have a ton of unplayed Descent content, but if FFG is taking an interest in Descent again, I’d never say no to more expansions.

Edit: 1st edition was in 2005, right? That means 2nd is as old as 1st when we got the new edition.

Aren't we still missing some 2nd Ed Heroes from 1st Ed?

It's good to see them trying to be more interactive with fans. Fingers crossed about new management.

C'mon FFG. Give us some more sweet, sweet D2E. A 3rd edition is just gonna blow up the universe. Do you guys really want to go through the process of writing a brand new rules system only to have to spend another half a decade rewriting them over the course of 4-5 FAQ releases and thousands of customer emails? You almost have the RAW for D2E in a place that is sorta-kinda robust - don't give up now! I must have more content! GIVE ME VARIKAS MORTAL OR YOU SHALL PAY THE ULTIMATE--- heh whoops uh, sorry got carried away there.

If heroes are to be made, I want healers, mages and scouts so there would be 20 heroes of each archetypes

Just to add to this: there is also a new Artwork for Kirga in the Genesys Realms of Terrinoth book.

So 7 of the 12 have confirmed redesigns.

Kirga would need some buffs in abilities as well not just in design anyway

I encourage everyone to reply, like, make express ourself - it could live as long as there's hype and demand... in other words some enthusiasm can't hurt.

After all these years I'm still looking forward for the last heroes (old and new ones) + the road to legend campaign for the remaining expansions (there are 4 of them left, if I'm not mistaking).
Even after Gloomhaven, Conan, Imperial Assault and Massive Darkness - Descent is still my favourite dungeon crawler (and by that I mean both editions). Its not perfect, sure, and I hope we will see the 3rd edition. Not in Keyforge or L5R setting or even 2ed of SW IA. I fall in love with Terrinoth setting and I wish to see more of it in the future.
Frankly, I would even loved to see the Runebound 4th edition

Come on FFG! Give us the last great physical Expansion with the last heroes! Maybe a jail expansion with the last captive heroes and a new jailmaster lieutenant! And this jail is maybe under a great glacier in isheim or something like that! 🙂

I hope too to see a big box with many things inside (and for the Overlord especially) but since the more expansions it goes on, the less they are sold, this box will not be cheap. But I would pay it willingly, even 100$ if the content is here (figures, Overlord stuff)

I rather want 3 boxes with monsters, If I had to choose

It's already taking long-long minutes to choose monsters for some encounters.. among other things I have to take care as overlord usually...

I never thought about how much work it is to choose monsters.

Now my group is gearing up for encounter 2 of Caladen’s Crossing... I need to choose 5 open groups from most of the monster deck, please send help 😅

Many monsters are useless as open groups. Now I now which ones are usable or not.

Besides there's never enough.

And finally choisir heroes and classes take time too.

The more I have to chose from the better it is.
