Hope to see more Nabooan ships.

By Kingsguard, in X-Wing

The N1s are a fun start but the game should add some larger ship for them to fly with. They may be difficult to balance because they are large ships with no weapons whatsoever but it would be so cool to use them in a game with the N1s. The Diplomatic barge at least had hardpoints for refueling and carrying N1 Starfighters. It could make up for it's lack of armament by buffing N1s? Yeah, other than LAATs, these ships are my most wanted mini now.

Where are you seeing that it has hard points to carry other fighters?

if I recall correctly, both of those ships would be Epic in scale. I think if you're looking for a large-base ship it's this one:

Diplomatic Barge (Unarmed)

Because of the limited range of most escort fighters, the barge was equipped with four under-wing recharge sockets for use by N-1 starfighters during long voyages.”

I much rather see the J-Type 327 Nubian Royal Starship over the other variations, especially in the role of Diplomatic Shuttle role as a objective or some high profile support ship.

NabooBombers.jpg Naboo Bomber Variations (Scout Bomber, Bomber, Advanced Bomber)

NabooStarFighter.jpg Naboo Air Cruiser (Basically a Super Turbo Laser attached to a "Fighter" sized ship, though in game its scaled up)

Son of a #@$@#@ I found more....

The N64 game Battle for Naboo had a Naboo Bomber and Police Cruiser that i would not say no to.

My wallet on the other hand...

Just be happy this isnt EA or Activision, Im still waiting for them to start sending enforcers to players houses to flip them upside down and shake the money out of their wallets like some racketeering operation.

Huh, was that why the wookie warrior was so OP?

That just looks like they are flying with it, not being carried by it.

The big ship is refueling the N-1s

Interesting. Wht 'reference book' is that from?

Pretty sure that's from the Ep. II one.

I'll take the lot!

Yeah, possibly. Though I would expect the Decimator to be bigger than it is also.

I believe it's the Episode 2 incredible Cross-sections book

Looks cool even if it's just a N1 with stub wings. Wonder where the bombs are stored....

Admittidly, this artist forgot about the larger bomb bay that the Galactic Battlegrounds Version had. If you really study the positions of the pixels on that OG Artwork, the bomb belly bay is much lower then the N1.

The design of those ships are ok to me nowadays, but back then, when I first saw them in the movie, I immediately thought someone over-spammed the "add more polygons to curve" button of the 3d modeling software used to design these (I don't recall what this is called in 3D parlance)

Yeah for some reason I was asking they couldn't put a little yellow on those ships?

IIRC the silver is the royal colour they are all silver to show they are carrying a royal. The fighters are yellow with silver to show they are escorting one.

But that may have changed in the last decade.

That's what I heard.

Theoretically this means Padme's ship artwork should be silver on her card.

It's not.

I would agree with this if it hadn’t been for the fact that she was in a fighter and using a decoy on her ship in the movie. If her fighter had been silver there wouldn’t have been much point to the decoy.

she flew a fighter more than just that one time.
