INTRO: My brother and I have been working on a token holder for the last 5-6 months. We saw many on Etsy stores and elsewhere that did not fit our acrylic tokens, and definitely nothing that held our acrylic turret indicators, or acrylic bomb tokens, etc. We got tired of rummaging through our bins from toolboxes from Home Depot and wanted a token holder to hold everything. We wanted a place for it all, but still maintain a low profile to eat up as little table edge space as possible. We measured all of our tokens from Etsy stores like Curled Paw, Surly Good Designs, etc. After dozens of designs, and redesigns, and having prototypes in the field at hyperspace trials and system opens. We got lots of feedback and then redesigned again and are now finally set to offer the token holder to the public.

We will be launching a kickstarter on Monday, July 22nd

It is a modular system. You build it how you want it. The main holder will hold your mini damage deck (sleeved) and over 130 acrylic tokens, plus two open bins for odd shaped tokens. After getting the main token holder, there will be a dozen different modules that you can get to build it out how you see fit. If you like the open bins, we have a module with open bins. You like your tokens in stacks of five instead of stacks of ten? We have a stack of five token holder. There is a module for sleeved pilot cards and dials, and a module to hold your ships as you carry them from table to table in a tournament.

Please check it out on Monday. We will offer other products for ways to support us as well if you are happy with your current token holder.

How did that even get approved?

Very cool. How would I hold medium base ships in the ship module? Looks like there’s only room for small bases.

Small lid has room for 1 medium or large with 2 small.

There is also an extended lid ship tray that can carry 3 medium, or 2 large and 1 medium, or a mix of that with smalls.

Nice. So with the extended tray it is EPIC ready! 😊

Looking forward to the Kickstarter. Are you guys 3D printing, or what?

We are having a manufacturer do it for us. Leave it to the professionals so quality is consistent with what we want.

With the quantity we are expecting from kickstarter, we wouldnt be able to fullfil it in time ourselves.

Good choice. 3D printing is fine for custom stuff, but for higher volumes I would always shoot for something else.

Will probably still be 3d printed? That looks like a ***** of an injection mold!

I really like this! Is the final product going to be white, though? I think gray or black would be a much more appealing color.

Edit: Also, one of my biggest concerns would be depth. I would definitely appreciate a tray that's deep enough to accommodate ~8 acrylic tokens stacked.

First, which one are you? The taller one or the funnier one? 🙂 I dunno why, but I have spent years thinking you are MPB!

Second, I couldn't really tell ... would the configurations allow for solely using Burger Tokens? (I love Burger Tokens.)

Does it come with a "you'll win the game" option ??

Other colors will open up as stretch goals.

Our token hold holds stacks of ten acrylic tokens.

Im the tall (not funny?) one. Burger tokens will fit in every slot, as a penny fits in every slot. I did a test and I think I got 7 burgers stacked high in a slot. Stack 10 acrylic tokens next to a stack of burgers. I thinks its 7 if my memory recalls.

Announcing my DELUXE token holder. This DELUXE token holder will hold all of your x-wing tokens, and a bunch of other stuff!

etsey is full of them.. problem is most do not hold second party tokens.. only the cardboard ones..

Just to confirm, it looks like you have magnets in the corners. If correct, can I assume that multiple trays can be stacked together?

Was wondering the same, can they be stacked, or are the magnets only for the lid.

Do the two trays connect, or do they only connect to the lid?

What are the actual dimensions of the boxes in each configuration?

I'd love to see the template tray design! Having this arrangement with two styles of module token trays (the one in the main picture plus the one that can hold the acrylic arc rings for which I'm in desperate need of appropriate storage), with that ship holder tray on top and a template tray on the bottom seem like exactly my kind of ideal token tray.

I've actually been contemplating buying a 3D printer just so I can put my ideas onto SolidWorks and print them out. This seems like a much more economic solution in the meantime!

I do hope the token tray is logically laid out, though. I hate the trays that separate or jumble the range rulers and straight, bank, and turn templates.

We put magnets on the top and bottom so you can stack em however many layers you wanna go. EDIT: They do not connect side to side. Only top to bottom.

OH YEAH! It all stacks. We are finishing up videos this week and will be showing that stuff off. For instance, the ship tray has hooky bits and can be annoying in a bag grabbing on to cords or whatever, so you can put that on the bottom of your tray while it goes in your bag, then at the tournament, snap it to your lid on top

We focused exclusively on holding acrylic tokens. Ones from etsy shops like Curled Paw, and others from FFG that we got as prizes, like those ion tokens with point corners sticking out.

whats the footprint of an individual module? if we cant get a unit that has the same footprint as a large base ship then it would fit in perfectly in most storage solutions.

Very interesting, and cool looking. Great space saver. My one question, and idea: Why no slots for vertical storage of maneuver templets and range rulers?
