Inquisitor Spinning saber hilts

By damnkid3, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

I don't have my books but was needing the info for the Spinning saber hilts that the inquisitors used on Rebels. Have those been made yet? if so can you tell me what their stats are?

  • If not has anyone made their own version of them? I was they would just be similar to a double blades saber, but may add something to defensive or reflection when they spin mode is active.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Yes they are in Spark of Rebellion

I think one was in the dathomir book too

We don't actually have solid stats for them.

The Inquisitor spin-sabers get covered in Dawn of Rebellion in the individual Inquisitor write-ups (Grand Inq, Fifth Brother, and Seventh Sister), which mostly lists out their various modes (single blade, double blade, spinning blade) and the mechanical effects, and a sidebar in Dawn of Rebellion discussing some of the odd things they can do (extra effects when used with Saber Throw or the Enhance power). They're not listed as a purchasable item, instead being NPC specific, so there's no list of how many hard points they have (I'd suspect not many, probably just enough for the kyber crystal and maybe a 1pt attachment) or what their price and rarity would be.

Of course, it's possible with the upcoming Gears and Gadgets supplement that we'll get a full write-up for Inquisitor lightsabers.

The problem of course being we don;t know if its an incidental to go from single blade to spinning or a maneuver or an action.

I personally go with Maneuver.

Honestly I was pissed off that this basic information wasn't included in either book seriously would it have killed them to do a full write up?

I also would love for the Inquisitor Armor to show up....

It is an incidental. Same applies flipping to stun on blasters

Yeah quote an actual page that tells us that.

Hint there is none.

Is it? I've always took it as a manoeuvre as it counts as interacting with an item.

It is just a switch flip. Not like entering a series of commands on a computer.

How much effort does it take you to use a turn signal?

Page 157 stun damage second paragraph. Free action to switch to stun setting. I dont see activating the second blade as any different than switching to stun setting. Now it is still a manuever to draw the weapon.
