Hey guys,
Finally got myself a Sith and those adorable little probe droids. Been trying them out, seeing if they're really the long-range-scanners of the CiS.
The answer is...sorta. They definitely need a better player than me after 2 games with a new mechanic...
But, good news! Even with me botching it horribly, the Probes still functioned as Passive Sensors (kinda) for my little FCS Baktoid!

After having been launched the round prior, probey inches up towards the resistance while his tuB carrier shows off my struttin' and rollin' off the rock (linking into a TL!)
Now, the little Baktoid (bottom right) is WAY out of range for a TL...but Probey's here to save the day!

...aaaaaaaaaaaaaand they're in my face (fortunately T-70s can't link focus from a boost!)
So I kinda botched the whole LRS thing royally, which led to an incredibly close game ending on 1-hull Maul against 1-hull Pava. Not that the Baktoid died here (networked calc and dookrew!) but the approach could've been MUCH better and more devastating.
Still, from failure comes slightly less failure! Even a poorly utilized Probe droid can still give you a Passive Sensor esque benefit (minus the engagement phase timing, ofc) that'll let you use FCS on your Hyenas without missing out on much!
Anyway, just wanted to point that out as I'm really interested in trying out more FCS Hyenas in the future. But for now, I'll leave you with this glorious little moment:
