So now that the new resized tie silencer is coming out, I’ve been thinking about the 2 1st edition minis I have in my collection.

Rather than retiring them, I’m thinking of maybe flying them in casual play as a “heavy silencer” variant, running them on a medium base with maybe a bomb slot or 2?

Doesn't sound bad, considering how there's supposed art for FO bombers out.

Or you could insist on flying Chad silencers, whilst displaying the nicer albeit smaller model on a desk.

I'm just going to use the oversized ones for Kylo Ren, while the other Silencer pilots fly the normal ones.

Just fly the big ones to assert your dominance

Ben Swolo huh? I mean yeah I was thinking of doing the same if I am being honest.

Anyway that idea sounds pretty cool, give it some extra hull/shields. To make it more fair though I think it would have to lose an agility die and maybe some changes to its actions and ship ability. A medium base ship being able to do the things a small base silencer can sounds horrifying.

A friend at my store plans to keep using the old silencer but plans to use the small one as a target lock.
