Help with tournament list

Have a tournament coming up and am new to the game. Was wondering if anyone could give some advice on a list.

I have the core set, assault frigate, Ackbar mc80, mc75, gr75, and one rebel squadron 1. Was thinking of either using Ackbar, Dodonna, or Raddus as the admiral, preferably Ackbar. My concerns are how to deal with fighter heavy lists without a ton of fighters. Thanks for the help!!!

Kill the carriers.

Trying to do a list with what's available was challenging. We need Engine Techs and Leading Shots for the MC80, especially if we want Ackbar on her. Raddus can be tricky to use, but here's what I came up with:

1 • MC75 Armored Cruiser - Admiral Ackbar - Strategic Adviser - Caitken and Shollan - Electronic Countermeasures - Enhanced Armament (169)
2 • CR90 Corellian Corvette A - Slaved Turrets (50)
3 • Assault Frigate Mark II B - Gunnery Team - Boosted Comms - H9 Turbolasers (91)
4 • GR-75 Medium Transports - Comms Net (20)
5 • Wedge Antilles X-wing Squadron (19)
6 • Tycho Celchu A-wing Squadron (16)
7 • X-wing Squadron (13)
8 • X-wing Squadron (13)

try to keep things at long range and use your fighters to delay an opponent heavy squads - you will lose that battle but hopefully they buy you enough time. You'll want to focus fire out your side arcs to one enemy ship as often as possible. Assault Frigate has anti-flotilla tech and Gunnery teams, so it can try to take those types of ships out with one of her shots and she also has Boosted Comms, so she will run you squads until they're all gone.

I would use Comms net to give ConFire tokens to the Corvette and Assault Frigate.

The MC75 is the only thing that can re-roll, but you'll have her with 6 reds out the sides so at least it should hurt when she shoots.

For Objectives I would take Advanced Gunnery, Contested Outpost and Dangerous Territory.

Why not the mc80... and I now have access to the cards from the ISD, and interdictor

You can also replace the MC75 in his list with the MC80--that's usually a good choice with Ackbar.
