Worlds in April

By Mogrok, in Star Wars: Armada

Welp FFGOP let the cat out of the bag in the discussion thread about the new primes worlds in April. Also there might not be store champs at least not anytime soon...as Primes (regionals) are the qualifier so they are the priority.

I dont see the cat that is out of the bag in there.... can you explain please.

Yours sincerely, one of only 4 invitees to worlds.

In one of Mat Hollands responses he answers that since worlds is in April the prime champs are a priority because of the invites....as to why there has been no news on store champs.

So not Adepticon then.

Werent they talking about Xwing though so doesnt necessarily mean anything about Armada?

The key comment is this one . In response to the question "So no store championships for armada?", the reply "No store champs news right now. We've got Worlds again in April, so with primes granting invites those were our priority."

The thread is only about Armada. And the reply suggests they're in a rush to sort out Primes (is that what we're calling them?) now, rather than Store Championships, because they need the Primes to be sorted out with enough time for the winners to get to Worlds in April.

It may be they're still going with Adepticon, just missed that it is late March, or possibly they're going back to hosting Armada Worlds themselves, at their own time. That might work if they're expecting fewer participants so will have space to host.
