Talk to your FLGS about running one of these ASAP. Applications due next week.

Prime Championships are the old Regionals , not Store Championships.

Regionals became Prime, Nationals became Grand, Store, World and Continental stayed the same.

But still important for places to have them. Prime Championships give a Worlds invite.

As mentioned these are for regionals, not store champs.

As per Matt Holand when I asked him.

"No store champs news right now. We've got Worlds again in April, so with primes granting invites those were our priority."

Very disappointing. I get it, they got a ton of games to do OP for. But still disappointing.

As to if more Primes will be held to make up for lack of store champs.

"I'm not sure they are correlated exactly like that but we will be trying to make sure there's a good spread (working with what applications we receive of course)."

It's a good thing someone in my area followed the FFG Organized Play Facebook page - the store I play at had no idea applications were up. I'm determined to get a Regional/Prime back to the Denver area this year.

I will be doing the same here in Southern California. The idea is bringing back SoCal regionals to Los Angeles!

So. . .anyone heard about a timeline for these? They had the applications post two months ago, then nada.

Once stores were selected they were asked to submit potential dates.
