Splitting that hair mighty thin. If it had different stats then yeah, but that wouldn't make sense thematically unless it was just adding additional keywords to match the characters.

Of course it would have different stats. Luke, with a gear icon, and a compulsory move, etc. I am not suggesting we’ll see such a model but I am not splitting hairs. This is just not what “cross faction units” means.

But fit thematically? There is no such concern when the Emporer is out personally repairing vaporators.

Have you seen our old pal Sheev lately, he is in need of some serious hydration. I can seem him repairing vaporators.

Anakin Skywalker, agent Kallus and troops like Wookiees are great examples for multi faction.

A single model with multiple unit cards wouldn’t be so difficult to imagine.

And more extraordinary units, like Luke/Leia on speeder bike, Chewie in an AT-ST or Luke/Han as Stormtroopers could be saved for special scenarios.
