Sorry, yes, he can only use 1 Lightsaber and the blaster, of course, or both lightsabers.

****! We were on the verge of greatness! We were this close!

The BARC sidecar can swivel 180 degrees! Very cool!

COMMAND CARDS

Supreme Commander (2 pip)
2 Troopers

General Grievous gains 1 Surge token for each other friendly trooper unit at range 1. While another friendly trooper unit has a faceup order token, it gains Guardian 2 and can use Guardian during a melee attack.

General Kenobi (3 pip)
Obi-Wan Kenobi and 2 Units

When Obi-Wan Kenobi issues an order to a unit, that unit gains 1 surge token for each other friendly unit at range 1 of it.

Wow, lots of pushing really hard on that surge token mechanic. Seems a little silly and more about the new token and less thematic (though that guardian piece is pretty fluffy)

Its what, one surge token for one surge result you normally wouldn’t get to convert?

They handed out Surge tokens to almost every single unit in that round lol it was hilarious. And the surge tokens do seem valuable, since they can be spent on Attack or Defense, as well as when using Guardian.

Anyone know if Surge tokens are only given from upgrades/commands or if there are other ways to get them? For example, as an action?

CORRECTION: Surge is NOT an action. The tokens can only be given.

Luke rolled 11 hits with Fire Support haha you can use Fire Support to get around being panicked. If a unit that may panic when activated has a faceup order token and uses Fire Support, it'll flip the token facedown, and thus, would not panic.

I don't get why it's any less thematic than the command cards we have right now which hand out dodge and aim tokens.

WHIRRRRRRLLLLWIND!

These command cards that gives out tokens based on x units at range # feels way more powerful than the rebel, empire ones. You could get 5+ tokens without to much work.

Yes, indeed, especially since you want to try and keep your own units within Range 1 for droids and clones, so you may wind up catching people in a clump!

Can someone please provide a link to the video?

Thanks

The flip side of that is that they will be more situational and can potentially end up being only a slightly better option than the generic. The surge tokens are nice and seem much better when used for defense, but they still require you to roll surges to begin with.

And the final command cards!

Crush Them (3 pip)
Grievous and 2 Units

When General Grievous issues an order to a unit, that unit gains 1 surge token for each defeated enemy unit.

Knowledge and Defense (2 pip)
2 Troopers

Obi-Wan Kenobi gains 1 dodge token for each other friendly trooper unit at range 1. Obi-Wan Kenobi can use Guardian during a melee attack.

Not so worried about surge as 3+ dodge 😋

Luke was rolling insanely hot, but, the Clones' ability to use any tokens with range 1 is not to be taken lightly. He did that with great effect.

Did we get that with the last Imperial and Rebel Specialists? They have general use command cards in them.

I wouldn't call the Imps' cards power creep, especially when the 1-pip is absolutely awful.

I disagree that it is awful. I will admit it is of limited use, but as more command cards come out, and I suspect that we will get more general cards, it's use may go up.
