I think it's related to this thread (on Fifth Brother and Palp combining), but I wanted to ask the question explicitly.
If I have an Inquisitor with Brilliant Evasion, can I use Palp force to convert two focus results to two evades?
For reference:
Brilliant Evasion reads,
While you defend, if you are not in the attacker's 
, you may spend 1 
to change two of your 
results to 
results.
Palpatine reads,
While another friendly ship defends or performs an attack, you may spend 1 to modify 1 of its dice as though that ship had spent 1
I want it to work, but Palpatine's wording explicitly says '1 of its dice' which makes me feel it probably doesn't.
