Doubt its in wave 5 as the 2 new ships are the Republic Y-wing & Seperatist Nantex (Neither showing a cannon upgrade in the spread) and none of the ships being rereleased have it listed on their product page.

Your best bet is Wave 6 or the card-packs that should roooughly be around the same time.

5 for my Scyk swarm. It will be interesting to see how long it takes new cards to be released in all factions. It is unfortunate that the Scyk release in wave 5 doesn’t come with them.

I own four, each painted differently and I will be getting the fifth in Wave 5. They are certainly fun and zippy little fighters.

From the last livestream, the devs said that Card Packs would be announced at the end of July at some convention or another, I don't recall. Now, when that eventual release happens, I'm not sure, but I'd say "After Wave 5, before Wave 6."

I'm pretty sure they said they'd be with wave 6, but that Epic was coming just after Wave 5, with a trickle of huge ships after that.

Of course, I WANT to have card packs as soon as possible. I don't fly Resistance but I LOVE B-Wings, so I'm hankering for 3-4 Autoblasters. They'll be going for probably $20 aftermarket though, which is just entirely prohibitive.

They didn't say when card packs would come out. They only strongly alluded that they are going to also announce card packs during GenCon while they are announcing Wave 6. That being said, card packs may come before Wave 5, with Wave 6, after Wave 6, etc. We will get more details during GenCon in early August.

Technically late July. They're streaming it July 31. 29 more days!

Willing to bet card packs release with Wave 6, since they're likely being announced at the same time (as you stated, Wave 6 confirmed for GenCon announcement and "those interested in card packs should tune in.") We may see a different timeline, seems to make sense though for timing based on what we've gotten thus far. We're expecting more details on Epic soon which has a post-Wave 5 release, which generally speaking checks with the timelines for the other announcements thus far.

On the other hand, FFG has a track record of getting all-cardboard stuff out much faster than plastic. Who knows?
