Agent Kallus and Fulcrum

By A-N-T-N-Y, in X-Wing

Why is Kallus only represented in the Empire when clearly as Fulcrum, he served the Rebellion?

It's a shame he isn't represented like other characters,. like Fenn Rau in bother Scum and Villiany and Rebel Alliance. Han Solo, whose in three factions, the different stages of Anakin to Vader. Even Nora and Oddball are represented in different ship units.

Anyways, just something I noticed recently while watching Season 3 of Rebels.

Fulcrum is too busy hanging out with K2-SO.

Wouldn't be too bad to see a version of him in Rebels. You know what would be wild? He actively inserts himself onto an enemy ship. Effectively the same as a condition, but with slightly different texture.

I always thought it would be cool to have a double-sided card called "fulcrum" on one side, that you can flip and reveal either (spoiler) or (spoiler) both of which have very different abilities on their flipsides.

Well, that's kind of like the Listening Device condition, I guess.

It doesn't make sense to have him be a crew card on your ship and simultaneously be on the enemy ship, so I'd have the crew card be 'fulcrum' (or maybe a system upgrade for 'fulcrum transmissions') - have it attach a condition of "there's a spy in our midst".

Making Kalus a super-duper informant kind of makes sense - but to distinguish him from Cassian Andor, make him be one-use (his 'big betrayal'...) - discard the condition in the system phase to flip several (all?) of your opponent's dials simultaneously for that one turn .

If it's just better Informant, fine. If it wasn't so bad, I'd suggest an alt-art Informant with a picture of Kallus to a friend of mine who does alt-arts for local tournaments.

However, there's something hilarious to me about literally attaching him as a crew to an enemy medium or large base ship (regardless of upgrade slots), and simply making that ship worse. Maybe he has 2 recharging charges, and folks defending against his ship can spend 2 charges to turn one hit to an eye, or one eye to a blank. Greedo already establishes the concept of an upgrade your opponent can use against you. Fulcrum-Kallus could be an all-drawback Greedo that your opponent gives you.
