The FFG model is quite excellent but I'd kind of like a figure closer to his Clone Wars appearance where he towers over all the human-sized characters. Basically 40mm base sized...

Going by this picture, it seems Grievous DOES tower over Obi-wan:

now this isn't exact, as the bases are hidden, but going by the official databank, Grevious is 2.16m tall, and Obi-wan 1.82m a difference of 34cm. Grievous’ height is also probably based on him standing fully erect, but usually he is hunched over slightly.

There's no doubt he's big, but not like this:

Couple things of note; Ki-Adi Mundi is down on one almost, so not standing at his full height. As the (awesome) Genndy Tartovsky clone wars was overwritten by the clone wars Series, not to mention the current canon status, we won't have that version of Grievous.

To be sure... I just want an alternative larger figure if it can be found.

I always hated the cartoony proportions and styling in the shows. The B2s are a perfect example of this as the first one looks solid, but the second one looks like it should fall over any minute because it's so dang top heavy.

Yeah I much prefer the more realistic version.

I was at a NEO and held the Grievous model. It's humongous. We're pretty sure he can never touch a piece of terrain with his base unless he's standing on it, due to his sprawling arms and cape.

I'll probably just convert one out of a Tyranid warrior based on that old Grievous Hive Tyrant conversion.
