My favorite ships are getting cheaper!

By Icelom, in X-Wing

ffg you crazy!

-Belbullub Ottraw Autopilot down 1pts (super legit ship gets slightly cheaper... yup!)
-General Grevious (fully kitted soulless one + imperium plating) down a wopping 9pts in total. I loved this ship before.... 9ts? really say what?
-All the tie advanced v1.... ok what is ffg smoking? that ship is so freaking good the generic inquisitor down a whooping 3pts. Its already my vote for strongest ship in the game.
-All the tie/FO pilots went down sweet diggity.
-Backdraft goes down 2pts I already preferred her to quickdraw.
-Recoil down 1pt owww yAAAA.

Basically all my favorite ships went down in points.... not sure what i did to deserve this ffg.

Honorable mention to the Vulture droids going down... the missile cost increase kind of evens this out but maybe since grappling struts went down to 1pt its i might actually see value of a vulture without energy shells.

Only thing that kinda nailed me was hate, i sure loved my hate fueled sith infiltrators..... but wait a second hate costs what 9pts on them and they went up by 2pts each.... and i just saved 9pts on grevious? what so really i went down 1pts when i field them with general grevious compared to before? ohhh well that's not so bad is it?

I mean, the beeblebabble REALLY needed the reduction

Impervium is a super situational rng card that had no business being 6 points on a 3 hull ship

Soulless one is two hull upgrades; NOT 10 points

etc

Eight vultures with ESC and Struts is 200 points now. Well OK FFG, twist my arm...

while i agree i think for that list i cant give up my munitions failsafes.

I took a list to 9th place at a hyperspace with 3x bellybubbs, lost the cut by loosing a game by a single hitpoint on the enemy ship. At the last hyperspace i was at, a list with 3 bellybuttons got to top 8.

The generics at least were pretty good, if underutilized. most of the point cuts however are in the aces territory for the 2x upgrades and the 2x named ships. I think ffg did do a nice job balancing those out without bringing up the power of the generics to much in the process.

My two, jenky, non-meta lists that I've barely been able to try just jumped up to 210+... :(

Oh well; all energy flows according to the whims of the Great Magnet.

3x Outmaneuver Assassins + Outmaneuver Seevor got completely untouched, my 4x U-Wings (with Leia) squad was 1 pt too expensive and I had to drop my luxury Informant, and my Krennic-Tarkin-Jendon + Maarek + Vader squad lost a little bit of its bid. All in all, damage wasn't bad. In return, I get Gavin + 3x Autoblaster Marksmanship Bs and improved 5 ship Kihraxz/Kimogila/Autoblaster Scyk squads to mess with.

My Quickdraw & 2 Silencer list is untouched. My Five Cartel Marauders now have Deadman Switches for additional shenanigans. Another list I'm looking forward to try is 5 Zeta TIE/SF with Cluster Missiles and Passive Sensors.

Now I'm really mad that Bubblebuddies are essentially $40, without a stand-alone release.

There was a 201 point list I'd wanted to fly with Grievous, Wat (with Kraken), 2x Feethan Ottraw Autos, and DFS-311 with Grappling Struts. Now, I get Crack Shot on both Grievous and Wat, plus Soulless One for Grievous.

But it'll cost another $80 to own it.

I want a couple more Separatist paint job Vultures... I can’t afford to do it right now, but I’d be willing to spend $25 on two Vultures and get someone a Belbullab for $15. I can’t be the only one willing to do that kind of thing.

When i took a triple bubblesaurus list to a hyperspace the reaction i got was "do you own all those?" and "how much did that list cost?"

I would love 5 of them, its my favorite ship right now i would definitely want to try running 5x of them. But even i cant justify that... now i am trying to internal justify getting 2 more of them.

Shadowcaster title down to 3pts. Happy about that. Ketsu no change but other SC pilots a little cheaper.

Yeah, my go-to CIS list got better in all regards. I might exchange Wat Tambor for Grievous just for fun

I was looking at a heavy swarm of Bulbazaurs, but like you say, getting them is eye-wateringly expensive and I hate borrowing other people's stuff.

a TIE/fo swarm, or even tIE/sf swarm, does look appealing, though

Did any rebel ships get cheaper?

ARCs, E-Wings, K-Wings and HWKs generally got cheaper.
