We all know that the classic 6 TIE/ln Swarm is quite an effective list. If you cut one TIE/ln and maybe downgrade 1-2 to Academy Pilots you could add a TIE/x1 or TIE/sk. Having a "flanker" would it make the list better though or just lose the synergy of the 6 TIE/ln?

Four ties (Howl/Iden & friends) and vader is fun

TIEs are priced for cumulative efficiency, and you either Max amuse that efficiency with numbers + Howl or Iden, or drop the Lady bosses and run generics + Vader or other aces to make up the difference.

I think this 7 is WAY sleeper good.

Swarm Tactics on a few of the high init pilots is popular as well...

The sweet spot is a named swarm, howl, iden, gideon, del, wampa and academy. Put swarm on howl and iden ps kill stuff.

I do like the lists with maarek or a striker.

I’ve experimented with a Soontir Swarm. It’s pretty nice actually.
