After reviving the Emperor (if you could), what do you think he would do? My moneys on a long stretch followed by a longer trip to the bathroom. More importantly, how would you say that while keeping a straight face. "Thank you my children for reviving me, now if you'll excuse me, the lack of a bathroom built into the throne was a serious mistake, Ill be right back." They could call it the porcelian crusade. My players are going to hate me.

The High Lords of Terra kill/incapacitate him again, put him back in stasis like nothing ever happened, and get back to bitching at each other over cutting up the galactic pie again. Maybe some Amalathians even help out and lend some support. The Vindicare Temple can Dodge an Emprah, right?

since he is/was in a time stasis field he shouldn't need to go to the bathroom except he had to go right before he was "nearly" killed like:
his son killed him and he is like "**** I really need to go to a bathroom now"
virtualy no time passed for him when he comes out there that is the same reason why one can't go inside there and fix him up because he would also be struck by zero time flow
maybe a really really really powerfull time/bio psyker can eventually heal him but having a psyker that powerfull prolly doesn't need the emperor anymore and wants the cake for himself

well actually there are people who believe he slowly heals even though he is caught in time stasis
but I don't have that much info on it maybe stasis isn't a 100% time stop but only slows it? then he would slowly die...
Heck I don't even know how they moved him onto his throne and installed that time stasis device intime right before he died...

Everybody knows that when the Emperor wakes up, he becomes so distraught that he sends out a beacon that causes ALL of the Tyrannid Hive Fleets to converge on Holy Terra. Then, all of the loyal SM's were summoned to Terra to defend it from the coming storm. Then, the Emprah arranged things so that Terra itself was blown up ... gone ... and since there was no longer any Atronomican, they were all SOL in the Terran system, thus ending the Imperium as we know it.

Isnt it the Necron star god known as "The Dragon"?... there are massive hints throughout the literature, just cant remember if its explicitly stated as canon, thats all.

Originally, the throne room had shag carpetting on the floors, walls and ceiling. And a disco ball. This goes same for his chevy van. Empra was one kool kat.

I was refering more to the "let's clone Palpatine/let's clone Luke/let's clone everybody" frenzy in SW comic books and novels. I don't judge the authors, though. they had a hard time trying to inject some plot in the most overrated SF IP ever...
Going back to 40K, the Emperor is supposed to be the collective reincarnation of a group of old tribal shamen (well, if Dan Abnett hasn't retconned this part of the IP yet) so I guess mere cloning won't do the trick.
