Welp, thanks to the new contrast paints, I've gone and tried a pass at painting up some of my neglected Rebels...
They're not quite as simple as the advertising suggests, but they do save you the base, layer, and wash steps. I still ended up doing a highlight drybush on the coats and pants, but I'm pretty happy at knocking all this out in two hours.
One word of warning, you need a really really bright base coat, so get that new Citadel white for your zenithil priming. It's possible if I had a brighter prime I would not have needed to drybrush at all...
