Making dice more readable

By prauxim, in X-Wing Painting and Modification

Players may mark dice with a permanent or indelible marker to
indicate ownership in an unobtrusive manner but cannot otherwise
alter them in any way.

Any experience with marker work on dice? Specifically, has anyone been successful making the Hyperspace charcoal attack dice more readable?

Maybe an ultra fine pink sharpie would help?

I'd love to paint the symbols a different color, but I'd expect somebody would grumble.

Although ... if you share your dice maybe that may be enough to show your opponent that there isn't anything underhanded going on and it's all in good faith.

Yeah, I was think about just painting them then keeping some backup dice in case someone complained, but there is still a (very) small chance of complaints/issues after the fact.

Go old school and use wax crayon.

;)

I tried asking one of my local office stores, 8 yrs back, if they had any (for marking my china when i was boxing stuff up for shipping), and the gal behind the desk didn't even know what i was on about..

She probably would know what you want if you asked for Crayolas
