Added benefit, for the first time ever, your B-Wing can fly in low rider (one peg) configuration.
To be honest, I didn’t really care one way or another about flappy X-Wings. That B-Wing tho...
The new model looks SO much more dynamic on the table.

Yeah but I wonder how handling the mini will be affected, gripping only by the back stem seems like it'll get old fast

Definitely not modded, but it's got that "scare the other guy into mistakes" advantage.
I haven’t actually tried it. But old 1.0 experience tells me it’s probably not that bad.
I must admit having the attack shuttle and Leia do help. But at the end of the day I think this is going to largely feel like 5 khirgkxsfv spam. Tighter turns are nice. As is with these lists the endgame isn’t too good if you don’t aloha/alpha them off the board.

I usually pick up ships by the base of I can. If it's too crowded I'll grab the model, but enough of my models come off their pegs easily* that I've gotten out of the habit.
*That conversion between old and new pegs had really messed with the hyper-organized side of me.
Just curious, how would you build an epic list that consists entirely of B- Wings? Are epic lists 300 points (or more)? I’ve never played epic, which is why I’m asking...

Yeah, they were 300 points in first edition, so it stands to reason that it would be 600 points in Second Edition. Hopefully we get more info soon!
Passive Sensors might make a case for up to 3 generic Bs
They let you pair low I targetlocks with the inumerble rebellion focus support ships for big $ mods

My brother just runs all low end generics almost naked, with advanced sensors to still get his action if he has to pull a lousy maneuver. Granted he's been doing this in 1.0, but I'm sure it's still fine.
It's one big reason we've stuck with 1.0; he would only get 2 dials for his collection of 12 B-wings in a con kit.
As the Imperial, chewing thru 80+ HP sucked. He could be low PS and still be there to shoot back 80-90% of the time. I'm glad it lost a shield so I can start scoring crits sooner.
This is what my opposing forces looks like 90% of the time:
I think this was actually a 1.0 400pt 2v2. 150pts or so for Corvette, 22x8 for Bwings. This person also put torpedoes on the Bwings... it was ok. (With Guidance chips)
Anyway, looking forward to trying this Zeb 4 Bwings and Leia build.
