I really want the articulating model but unlike Xwings Bwings don’t seem to have much of a use.

Well take it back there’s refuel beef but I’m not interested in that. There’s also no real good list for just the generics.

Im also skeptical of angles deflectors because it’s lkely going to be like expose

4 b wings+zeb is a good list

I'd wait on new points I guess.

but honestly, as someone who bought four Fang Fighters and then bought four more when I found out the 2.0 ones' wings spin, if you tell me you aren't just gonna end up buying 4 regardless of how good it is I don't believe you.

Thought I’d get 4 Xs. But I got two. And use them fairly often. Usually for wedge and like torpedoing things. Pretty happy with just 2.

You're stronger than me then.... I have seven flappy X-Wings (that was mostly a mistake due to preorders and GenCon and stuff though)

As said you can do 4 B-Wings + Zeb. Alternatively, Gavin + 3 B-Wings with Autoblasters, as well as I3 pilot + Marksmanship for unblockable crit spam, though that's only 3 B-Wings and only fits if Autoblasters is a 2pt upgrade.

Somebody got 8/165 at an open with a BBBB list then that list got 6pts cheaper. I suspect it would be a-tier now if not overshadowed by beef.

Any number of things could make it meta, could be as simple as wedge getting a hike or AS getting Ini scaled.

It's def not gonna be AD tho

Yeah. Its just that beef is actually synergistic and multiplicative, while BBBB is additive.

Multiple ships with same dial/repo capability does have some inherit synergy, it gives better movement options and makes it easier to concentrate arcs.

But inter-ship synergy is just one of several components that can make a list strong. If Advanced Sensors was scaled by Ini right now (1/Ini , 10pts @ I6) generic BBBB or Ten/Bray/BB would likely move ahead of Beef (or at least be comparable) due to high ship-upgrade synergy of Bs and AS

Yeah, I haven't bought a single ship that I already have, except the T-65 and Tie Fighter I bought with the Core rules. I don't really plan on buying anything that I already own, unless I actually think I need a new ship of that type.

B-wings are everywhere locally.

That being said I have 4x first edition ones, I have pre ordered 1x second edition just to have one with the articulation.

My thought process

I guess we will be getting a red flabby B-wing at some point, so maybe save money for that one ;).

Do people generally think the BBUX or the BUXX version of rebel beef is better? I wonder if I even need 2 Bs. Sigh.

Really honestly, I need 0 Bs. I have 4 old ones already. And at the rate this is going, I doubt there will even be other lists than Rebel beef that use 2 Bs. I'm not convinced that 8 Bs will be good for Epic either. They aren't turning out to be exceptionally good for their cost apparently.

I ordered a B-wing through Barnes and Nobles and got it today... and let me say the folding wings, spinny cockpit, and spinning peg are amazing.

Its my fourth model...but I am seriously tempted to grab more.

I’ve been flying a similar list, swapping out 2 of the B-Wings for 2 X-Wings with S-Foils (Blue Squadron Escort).

They're the same initiative, so you still have the flexibility in activation order, but I find that having the variety in options for manoeuvring and repositioning makes it a lot easier to set up a kill box...

Went 3-1 and came second overall in both of the last two store tournaments I’ve participated in!

Now I'm just waiting for the points update to see whether the likely Leia increase will kill it off, and hoping that maybe Zeb and the X-Wings will get a points drop to compensate so that I can continue having fun flying it!
