So I havent played 2.0 yet, but I am messing around with making cards, so I was wondering, what pilot skill attacks first. Low or High? I think it was set up something like Low Pilots used to move first , attack 2nd, and high was attack first, move last. but Its been so long since I actually played 1.0 now that Its a bit fuzzy.
Quick 2.0 Rule question
High attack first.
If 2 pilots have same initiative the player with the first player marker move first and attack first.

Thanks, might as well ask, then what about movement, same thing, high move first?

Move low -> high
Attack high -> low

Moving = Low to high
Shooting = High to low
The first player token is given to one player to determine what happens if both players have ships with the same initiave.
The player with the first player token moves and shoots first with their ships of equal initiative to their opponent.
If both players have the same points cost for their list it's a coin toss. But I'd one player has spent fewer points (Called an initiative bid) they choose who gets the first player token. That's why some crazy lists have 15+ points unspent, as they want to make sure they move last, to arc dodge.
Lastly if you shoot first and deal enough damage to a ship of equal initiave, the enemy ship is not removed and is still able to return fire after, and it is only removed at the once all ships of that initiave have fired or'engaged' to use the proper game terms.
Hope you can have fun with this excellent game.

It should also be added that same Int pilots shoot at the same time, with the person that has initiative shooting first. What I am trying to say that if a Int 4 guy kills an int 4 guy, the dead int 4 guy gets a retaliation.
