If it had a higher population (perhaps in some unwritten era), I'd image that Star Wars would have "Dagobah Man" memes running wild on the HoloNet...

Actually the matte painting of Dagobah from ESB shows the planet to be completely overcast so beaches or no, they wouldn't be sunny. Plus the mega fauna would discourage tourism. (Although that 12+ foot long gator in Tallahassee didn't leave much of a dent this week).

And having lived in both Cali & Florida, the only reason that you don't hear about the weekly "California Dude" is because we don't have enough time in the day to report on all of the bizarre criminal behavior in that entire state. Florida is positively quiet and sedate by comparison.

And if they were to have enough of a human population it would definitely be "Dagobah Dude."
