I'd seen a Mulder and Scully investigator a while back and thought that, apart from the anachronstic era setting, the X-Files would be an ideal subject to play with AH. So here's my initial stab at it. I redid some details from the original Mulder and Scully and borrowed a couple of things from other custom content here and there. Still needs some tweaks in general, no doubt, and your feedback is welcome, but I'm looking forward to testing this out with a solo game at some point soon.
Anyway, here's what I've got...
X-Files: Arkham Horror
I will say two things... Both about Scully. Her ability seems fairly overpowered (at the least you should make it so she can only use it at the Science Building). Also, does it happen in addition to the encounter there, or instead of. It needs to be clear on the card.
Later.
What the... I can't edit my original post anymore? I did a couple of times, but now the "Edit" link isn't there anymore. Weird...
Anyway, here's the updated Scully. You're right... that was way too powerful compared to the Science Building's ability. I made it so she can only use that at either the Science Building or the Police Station and it gives a 2 toughness to1 Clue ratio, which is slightly better than the Science Building Autopsy ability, but not egregiously so.
Hrm... It'd be fine if you made it in addition to the encounter instead of instead of.

You think so? As it is, it's only slightly better than the existing Autopsy ability at the Science Building... and it's her only special ability. She's not really a powerhouse monster killer, either, so she'll have to work to make that useful, or coordinate with other investigators to meet up with her. I don't know... I think it's alright as it is. What's your thinking on that?

Well... I was just thinking that as she currently works, she's kindof like a lesser Yorrick. And this is a thematic fan creation... So... making her a bit stronger wouldn't be that bad. Hey, you're the one who's going to be playing with it :') so you're the one who needs to decide.
I was just somewhat concerned initially, since the toughness=clues ability was *extremely* strong, and I was pretty sure you wouldn't want to unbalance your game.

Alas, Yorrick... :oP Yup, I'd forgotten about him. As it is, the Police Station seems to be about even in terms of good/bad encounters, but the Science Building seems to lean toward positive encounters, so yeah, I'll change it so that if she's still at one of those locations after having an encounter, she can also perform an autopsy at her 2:1 rate. I also upgraded her gun from an .18 to a .38.
Sounds good :')
First of all, what is with these forums and the "edit post" function appearing and disappearing?? It's very annoying, as I'd like to replace the missing Scully pic on the original post and replace the originals for Mulder and the Syndicate with the updated ones below, but I currently can't get in there to do that... Sometimes the "edit" function is there, sometimes it ain't. Weird.
Anyway, here's an updated Mulder... His Determination ability seemed a bit strong before to get a Clue Token. He might have gamed that a bit by just showing up at the hospital now and then to heal or purposely losing a fight and taking an Injury card to max out his Stamina. Now it functions to get him +1 on a skill check, which is in one sense the same thing that a Clue Token can do, but it's not the same as being able to keep/spend Clue Tokens for sealing gates, etc. And he still loses a stamina, which makes it more situational as far as when it's worth using that ability.
And here's a slightly updated Syndicate, to guarantee that the Cigarette Smoking Man will come into play at least once. It didn't seem right that there could be a chance that he wouldn't see any screen time... I also changed the Elder Sign rule to limit it to once per game. I don't like entirely removing the ability for an Elder Sign to remove a doom token, as sometimes one less doom token is what keeps you in the game. This still adds a 2 Clue requirement to use an Elder Sign and limits it to once per game, which I like.

I just replace the original image at it's source (in my case at photobucket) and all linked images update to the current one.
The edit button will go away after a time, but to re-edit a post, click on the Report tab. Then, in the http bar at the stop of the browser (forget what it is called right now), change "reportar" to "editar", or essential Report to Edit. Then you can edit the post.
I like this one. Looks pretty fun, and X-files definitely fits the theme. The Syndicate is pretty cool, too. Forgot how much I loved this show.

Okay, thanks. It just seems weird that in the actual post the "Edit" comes and goes. But I didn't realize you could replace a pic at Photobucket... I just started using that. So that's probably the best option.

Veet, how do you do that? I couldn't find any instruction on Photobucket about how to replace a source image.

Nevermind. I just couldn't see the Replace Original button because it was scrolled below my image in the Edit mode.
Here's a session report for my first playtest of this: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/526741/the-x-files-relationships-17-failures-and-a-guest
