Imperial Hammer and Anvil

New to X-Wing and I've only been to one local tournament (went 2-1 surprisingly) and was wanting some help refining the list I used.

Rear Admiral Chiraneau(80)- Minister Tau(7), Hot Shot Gunner(7), Hull Upgrade(2), Trick Shot(2)

2× Sigma Squadron Aces(46)- Juke(5)

Squad Points 200/200

As the name suggests their is a lot of bait and switch with this list. Go after the Deci and the phantoms start chewing you up or go after the Phantoms and I'll leave them cloaked so your shooting at 4+ dice and mods. I have HSG on RAC to try and strip focus off the target of the Phantoms so the Juke can put in more work and he shoots before them.

I'm not sure the list can be refined in it's current form. Everything there is a decent upgrade, and there isn't really any waste. Maybe trading Tua and Hotshot Gunner for Darth Vader, but I can't say that'd be an upgrade, just something different. I'd call it a well put-together list. Well done at the tourney, and keep playing.

It's got a few similar elements. Vader works almost like Hotshot Gunner, likely removing tokens. Whisper brings the familiar Juke, but adds also Fifth Brother and Stealth Device, for more dice and dice mods. Bombs and Dauntless and Veteran Turret Gunner are nice perks on RAC. Moff Jerjerrod allows some really fast and unpredictable moves with that red Boost in the System phase. Probably a good deal harder to fly, however. Just seemed similar enough that it might be appealing to try out, get a bit of a flavor of some other cards, but not so different that you'd be completely unfamiliar with how the ships fly.

Also, I don't mean to suggest that it'd be a better version of your list. Just different.

Yeah I read that list, just didn't think it was for me. I prefer Tau for the improved action economy and survivability. She also synergize to well with RAC not to use IMHO.

RAC is interesting, if you can get the reinforce up+mods he can be evil. I only own one but I wonder how a double cow RAC list could do.
