here is the first announcement for the next Tourney of Stahleck. again its a combined event for AGOT, COC and WHI (with some boardgame action).

I was keen to go there last year, but due to the fact that I only play W:I out of the 3 LCG's, and that it was fairly new to the scene, I thought I would better go this year.

I heard to compete there you need to have previously qualified in another German tournament, is that true?

Is it possible to get accomodation in an upgraded room? I may go there with my girlfriend.

there are upgraded (2 bed) rooms at the caslte for 95€ per person. the number is very small, so the earlier you register the bigger the chances to get one.

no need to qualify for anything! (guess you are mixing it up with german nationals.)
