Okay the way i understand the first effect is every time you draw outside of the draw step you get to put a tide token once. So would i be right in saying if i use his form i get to put a tide token and then if i use a foundation that lets me draw i get to put another tide token?

Basically what i'm understanding is every time i draw any number of cards outside of the draw step i get to place 1 tide token yes?

Yes. And holy crap, the new Soge doesn't suck. Amazing.

Stamp for Aslum...

Might aswell post my question here instead of starting a new topic.

Sogetsu's bottom E= E Commit, or remove one Tide token from this card: Your opponent reveals their hand then discards 1 non-attack revealed this way.

Played him in my pre release and my opponent revealed an attack and a high tide, i say that the high tide is discarded but my opponent says its his choise whether it is its non attack half or not and therefore it wont be discarded.

Ruling?

I think the card should be discarded because the ability resolves to the best of its abilities but there is the argument about a split card being discarded if it has an attack half.

not getting my point across as clearly as i would like too...

let me know if u dont understand any part of it.

While out of play (hand, deck, discard pile, RFG), a split card is all types of card represented.

So while in hand, a split attack is always partly an attack card, and thus can never be a "NON-attack" card.

when not in play, splits count as both card types. sogetsu cannot force a split attack to be discarded

Ok if I use Deadly ground and the attack does damage then do I get one token for every card that I drew or just one ?

Sogetsu says when you draw any number of cards add 1 token, so you get 1 token per instance of drawing any number of cards.

So, 1 token.
