Clone wars release

Have FFG given any information about the clone wars release?

I know FFG's time table is often wrong, but how about other info?

Will the first expansions drop the same day?

Any new about release events or promo kits?

I think this can really bring on alot of new players and people who passed on the initial release, hopefully they give it there all to promote it.

Nope, you know what the rest of us know. All we know of for sure is the corps expansions and the new core set, and that the droids are on sprues (and ffg is moving legion towards the sprue model over time).

Articles will come.

My **educated guess** is GenCon early release and a general release later. But that is based on past performance not based on any actual ffg comment.

I've been expecting an early release at GenCon and a general release later in August, though their recent kerfluffles have made me doubt that timeline. I would tend to expect that the "wave 1" expansions will release alongside the core set, though at this point they only consist of the Phase I Clone Troopers and B1 Battledroids. Thus far they haven't announced any new release events or Clone Wars-related promo kits, only the Seasonal Premium Kit Season 2 kit which has alt-art Landspeeder and Occupier cards as well as cool dice.

Kerfuffle or not, if they want it at Gencon, they will have it at Gencon. They will pay primo airlifting if necessary. The profit they can make off a $100 box at a con is worth the added costs. Doesnt mean their "regular" shipment dates will be anywhere close.

I think TI4 was this way a few years ago. They got a limited supply at the con. I heard it was 500. The regular shipment didn't hit shelves until the next year.

The way its going, we wont even have all this wave out by Gencon!

Cant wait though. Even if the prospect of painting even more white is daunting!
