Hello all,
I seek your knowledge, another time.
I read a lot of time that, on Moisture Vaporizer, the red player is as a disadvantage, and that blue is oftenly winner on this one.
Can you explain to me why, and how, with actual rules pin pointing ?
I assume that I turn the problem in my head since a long time know, but I did not get how to abuse the winning condition on this (well, I do, but I want to have confirmation tho).
Thanks a lot !
A question about the tricky part of moisture vaporizer
What I’ve noticed is that Vaporators often comes down to points destroyed, as both player repairs or destroys their respective objectives.
Blue wins point ties, so if no one makes a move and neither side loses an activation, then blue wins! Therefore Red is forced to make a move and break the deadlock. That means that the Red player starts at a slight disadvantage, and sometimes can make a bad move to get ahead on points.
Its not as bad as the old key positions, but it can be a tough spot to start in.

Ok, I comprehend it well then.
And it is the "same kind of shenanigans" on Key Positions. Roger that.
ROGER ROGER !!!!
*sigh* can't wait. And thanks for the answer
Yup, TP summed it up well. Blue wins points ties, including ties of zero points destroyed. Depending on Vap placement it’s on red to make something happen first.
That said, if red can snare the first activation kill, it flips the script.

Yes, it oftenly happens to me. That's also why I do not really like Vaporizer (but choosing between this and Breakthrough is not even a choice).
I may try Jyn for some sneaky bull move on opponent vaporizer to win 4 turns...
It's a small advantage but so is bring more points to the table.
