Although I personally love the art, kits that don't have any cards for Rebels/Imperial or generic upgrades are in low demand in my area.

Agreed. I hope FFG has more cards then what is on show, other then the stress tokens it's all clone wars era that alot of people couldn't afford to buy into.

I can agree with the sentiment that not including something for every faction in the kit can leave people feeling cold towards it.

I'd like it if FFG could actually ship the kits promptly, however. To the best of my knowledge, we're still waiting for previously announced kits (including that regular play one) to reach the UK.

So how large are these kits? As in number of copies of each? Does anyone know?

You mean the 2019-s1 open play kit, now that we’re almost into quarter 3? Yeah, we’re still waiting for it in the US, too.
