I have some issues about the Bluff token in Battle for Rokugan.

1- Can I place a Buff token in defensive position? What happens then?

2- About the Lion Clan power: How does the +2 defense apply in the resolution phase?

And a deadlock situation

3- Can 2 different clans attack an empty territory? What happens then?

I know this is late, but here are your answers, as best I know them:

1. You can place the bluff token however you want. It's just to throw the enemy, making them think you're defending when you're not or blocking off a potential attack route. Unless you're Lion, it doesn't contribute anything in resolution.

2. Yes.

3. Whoever has the higher attack value wins and takes the province. In a tie, neither attacker takes the province (unless one of them is Crane).
