When I use the Synchronized Console upgrade, the card says that after an attack I can choose a friendly ship within a certain range and spend a target lock that I have on the opponent so that this chosen friendly ship gets a lock on this opponent, I have some doubts:

1 - Can I spend this lock (to transfer de lock) on a re-roll of my attack dice?

2. Can the chosen friendly ship be stressed?

3 - Can the friendly ship be beyond range 3 of the to be locked ship?

1. No. If you spend the lock to re roll, it is not available at the end of attack to spend on your friendly.

2. Yes. They can be stressed. The friendly is not taking a lock action, they are “acquiring a lock.”

3. No. The target must be within range 0-3 of the friendly. Regular lock restrictions apply.

Well, it IS a regular lock.
