Ackbar Defiance & TRC90 build

I love the old red fish, and I like me some TRC90s, so I decided to combine this with some rogues in a list. Played it twice so far (with mixed success - both times I flew too carefully with the big ship, and arrived a tad too late at the battle) and changed bit here and there already. Any recommendations for further improvements from you guys?

But Ackbar doesn't help almost half for ships then? Also reinforced blast doors on the MC80, I think anytime a ship has two slots for something use them

CR90 side arc + Ackbar = an Arquitens for 10 points less. Just don’t be obstructed or you get nothing.

On that note, I’d make a point of bringing Jaina’s Light and upgrading SFO to another IO for more hard choices (maybe make room by changing the squads around.) XI7s aren’t quite as useful when your opponent has 3-6 damage shots from the CR90s coming in that he won’t want to brace; he’ll redirect them and die without side shields one way or another. QBTs are a natural fit.

I considered that, but all other choices where more useful...

Hm... the fleet above is actually my third or fourth iteration already. I just dropped Jaina's and and Walex to make space for the YTs. I ran it with 3 X-Wings, Jan and a single VCX before (that's 73 pts instead of now 79 pts of squads), but never actually found the squad commands to make proper use of them - hence the rogues. Another IO sounds interesting... oh dear, I'll need to make space for him somehow...

And to be honest, I never actually thought much about the TCR90/XI7 interaction... thanks for the hint, might have to give QBT a try. They are at least a point cheaper after all... :)

I'm a bit at a loss regarding squad support... adding another IO, Jaina's and QBT would just allow me to go for 2 X-Wing, Biggs and Jan together with a token pushing VCX for exactly 400 points... but is this sensible?!

That's the same price as 4 YT-2400s and a bid... or 1 X-wing, so you hit with the YTs, then they hurt the YTs, then you use a squad token to jump the X-wing in and keep everyone shooting a little longer?

Or EWS, Hondo on the GR75 and a modest bid.
