Just got the starter set and a box of decks for Age of Ascension. I can't help but notice that the 7 house symbols are present on these boxes. Can we infer that there will be future releases with not all of the houses, or perhaps even new houses?

Yes. Richard Garfield has stated in early game demoes that new house will come in the future, rotating some or all of the past ones. He really liked that the story of the game lends itself to this. Houses getting sealed away under a layer as new continent gets beamed in and installed on the Crucible.

This is what I've been expecting/hoping for since the game's original announcements began to take shape. I really like the current factions and love the idea of new groups showing up. (It's a crazy world of every possible outcast and survivor from a ravaged galaxy after all, why would they only form into 7 factions!)

I just saw this too and couldn't help but get excited!
